About the Event
**NB: All art workshops and studio events are COVID safe. The workshop adheres to number restrictions, safe distancing behaviour and thorough cleaning requirements. No materials will be shared in this class.
In 2020, more than ever, individuals have turned to art practices to support their mental health. Whether we have known it or not, this is because the practice of art (in any form) triggers strong neurological behaviour that supports mindfullness, calm and overall wellbeing.
This 5 week art workshop, stricktly for beginners - is here to introduce you to the concept of neuroesethtics and help you engage with and expereince greater well being through your own art practice.
Together we will journey into the expressive arts - learning how to work in a variety of art materials (acrylic, pastels, charcoal) and learning how to draw in two ways - realistically and expressively. Interwoven through this course will be ways to manage our inner critic and how art making and art viewing can increase our emotional and mental well being.
Mondays at 4.30pm- 7.30pm
