The Power of Questing
Reclaim the art of deep, imaginative dialogue.
In a world that often seeks to convince rather than understand, Quest offers something rare, a space where curiosity takes centre stage, answers are suspended, and imagination becomes the guide.
Quest is not about finding the “right” answer. It’s about discovering the question beneath the question, the one that reveals what we’re truly seeking to understand.
It’s a dialogue of written questions, exchanged in silence, where insight arrives not through certainty, but through wonder.
Become an Accredited Quest Facilitator
As a psychotherapist, healer, coach, or mental health professional, you can now train directly with me to become an Accredited Quest Facilitator. You may have seen me perform Quest or read my book that discusses Quest in-depth, and now you wish to facilitate your own Quests.
Questing is deceptively simple. Two people, one piece of paper, a dialogue of questions only - each questions a response to the question of the other - no answers yet a conversation is taking place that takes the topic deeper than a Q and A. The experience is profound: minds slow down, language shifts, emotions surface, and new perspectives emerge. For therapists, healers, and facilitators, Quest becomes a tool for:
• Deepening presence and attunement.
• Helping clients bypass defences and reach the essence of their concerns.
• Inviting creativity, insight, and transformation in a way that feels safe and generative.
Since creating Quest as a public art performance in 2011 - and transcribing over 6,000 questions from those who have sat with me - I have brought it into psychotherapy rooms, corporate boardrooms, art fairs, universities, and community spaces. The most recent Quest took place at the Sydney Contemporary Art Fair in 2024, where again I saw its power to bypass the noise of everyday conversation and open a doorway to what’s really on people’s minds and hearts.
This is more than learning a method, it’s stepping into a lineage of deep, artful questioning that honours imagination, curiosity, and the unknown.
