Noula Diamantopoulos was selected by the BBC to serve as the on-set psychotherapist for *Space 22*, a six-part observational documentary that aired on the ABC in Australia. The series followed seven participants engaging in expressive arts activities, exploring the impact of creativity on mental health and emotional wellbeing. Noula’s presence supported both the therapeutic depth of the process and the integration of each participant’s experience.

Noula Diamantopoulos is a Sydney-based clinical psychotherapist, artist, and author who works at the intersection of trauma healing, creative expression, and embodied presence. With a focus on complex PTSD, relational trauma, and integration, her approach is both deeply attuned and grounded in contemporary neuroscience.

Noula brings to her practice over two decades of clinical experience and a breadth of specialist training, including Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Somatic Experiencing® (Level 2), EMDR, and Parts Work informed by both Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Janina Fisher’s Structural Dissociation model. She has also studied in person with Babette Rothschild and continues to engage with evolving frameworks in neuroscience, somatics, and trauma theory.

Alongside her clinical work, Noula has been designing and facilitating expressive arts-based workshops for over 20 years - spaces where creativity, gesture, and imagination are invited into the therapeutic field. This body of work now extends to therapists across the globe, as she integrates her expressive arts lineage with emerging trauma modalities.

She is the founder of the Brainspotting Training Hub and offers individual and group supervision to clinicians seeking depth, clarity, and expansion in their work.

As an internationally recognised Brainspotting trainer, authorised by David Grand, she has contributed to the growth of the method throughout Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and Greece, with a particular emphasis on integrating expressive and experiential approaches into clinical practice.

Noula is also the author of You Are. That Is. Creative. and a visual artist represented by Artereal Gallery in Australia.

There are hues we do not yet have names for, shades of grief that shift between the violets of longing and the deep blues of a quiet ache.

There are greens that rise like moss after rain— the slow return of breath, the softening of sorrow.

And gold.
Gold, not as ornament,
but as healing. The glint of light in the cracks of a wounded heart,
the ember of warmth when hands are held
in understanding, in silence, in the knowing

that we do not mend alone.
