Hosted by Psycholozin (in Greece), this training is an experiential introduction to understanding trauma and the role of the expressive arts in the therapeutic process. Together we will explore a variety of perspectives on trauma, drawing on the wisdom of Dan Siegel, Bonnie Badenoch, Cozolino, Jenina Fischer, and others. This topic will be explored through a brain/body lens, and will cover topics such as:
- What happens to a person who has experienced overwhelming events in their life;
- What happens to a person's nervous system when they have experienced overwhelming events in their life;
- The three phased approach to healing trauma; and
- How we can introduce the benefits of the expressive arts along the healing journey.
Duration: 3 Hours
